I was fortunate enough to draw a Bear Tag in Wisconsin after many years of waiting and researching, I chose to book a hunt with North Country Outfitters. When I entered camp and was greeted immediately it was obvious I made a very good decision. I was shown my active bait site and was shown trail pictures of bears in the area. As with any hunt there, are no guarantees although Bryan and his staff were going the extra mile to make sure all of his clients were successful! I fortunately was successful!! It was one of my most memorable and enjoyable hunts I’ve ever been on and will highly recommend North Country Outfitters to anyone!

I found out about North Country Outfitters from a buddy that hunted here last year and had a great experience. With this being my very first bear hunt I didn’t know what to expect, but NCO exceeded all my expectations 10-fold! The accommodations were comfortable, the outfitter was very welcoming, the comradery was top notch, and the overall vibe at camp was very relaxing.
Bryan and Joe worked their butts off to get hunters in the best possible position to see and kill bears. Even though we dealt with tough weather, Bryan got me in a stand that allowed me to kill my first bear! Not to mention I was able to have my dad in the stand with me to share the experience. I will 100% be coming back to North Country Outfitters for my next bear hunt, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great northern WI bear hunting experience.
